Robert E. McNulty was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. After receiving an honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy Submarine Service he earned his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree from Arizona State University in 1959 and obtained his Juris Doctorate degree in law from Whittier College of Law in 1972. McNulty holds a membership in the American Bar Association, South Bay Bar Association, and a lifetime teaching credential in law from the State of California. He taught law at the college level for seventeen years. Mr. McNulty previously worked in the insurance industry as a general casualty supervisor with Allstate Insurance Company. He established himself as a well-known casualty investigator-trial preparation expert with his own firm in the Southern California area. (He continues to maintain his investigators license.) After being admitted to practice law, he became a partner in the law firm of Pass, Fainsbert, Augur & McNulty, in the city of Torrance. In 1978, Bob and Chuck Saacke established a law firm in Torrance, which later became known as Ramsey & McNulty, and in 1987 the present firm was formed as McNulty & Saacke. Selected by his peers, McNulty was one of the first arbitrators in the experimental stages of the present state arbitration system. As senior partner, he has extensive jury trial experience in areas ranging from medical malpractice to products liability and governmental tort liability, and is eligible for admission to the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is admitted to practice in all state courts, and Central, Northern, and Eastern Federal District Courts. He served his community for ten years as a city planning commisioner, as well as other civic and community commissions and committees. |
